The work is usually carried out in two stages. ‘First fix’: The new cabling, wiring and boxes are installed. Followed by the ‘Second fix’: The sockets, switch fronts and lights are fitted. Everything is connected up and made ‘live’. Using the latest plaster guard boxes we can complete a rewire in a single fix, this means that the property is left fully functional and you wouldn’t need to wait for the walls to be plastered and painted before using your circuits.
